The first day I had three hours of sleep. Lots of work, and intense presence we need to have. But after 32 years of suffering, if we want to get ahead and come out of these chains of addiction and are eager to see our bright future THIS IS THE ONLY WAY. As soon as we checked in the hotel close by, we took a four mile walk to scan the area and were excited to see all these good restaurants we could go to. The therapy office is within walking distance and it was nice to walk morning and evening. First day was learning about ourselves and what we needed to do from 9-4, followed by homework and attending an individual recovery program for both of us. Second day we had to take two polygraphs until my partner could get comfortable to reveal all his secrets that he was holding from me for 32 years. It was a relief when he passed, and we had homework that night followed by attending a recovery program. The third day is more relaxing, focusing on things to improve our coupleship. I will strongly recommend this program for anyone who wants to recovery from addiction and build their relationship with intimacy. I feel like every dollar I spent was worth it and I intend to participate in the F/U program as well."
